Dude heck yeah! I forgot about that stupid valve. Thanks for reminding me.

335is clutch has a stronger presssure plate. If your nice to the car it will take it fbo no problem. Mine started slipping on a hard 3-4 shift mhd v5 e40 stock turbos cdv delete. Wouldn’t slip anywhere else or if I shifted softer. When I pulled the clutch to replace it still had like 50% life left in it. 335is clutch is nice because the softer pedal feel and margin of the price of most aftermarket setups. It will hold up fine for a daily driver but If you plan to be a dickhead to ur clutch with hard shifts and clutch dumps, upgrade it

^yup, I kinda regret getting the is clutch and not some Kevlar/sprung puck unit since e50 is so torquey and I plan to upgrade the drive-line so I can do those type of fun activities. also the UCP is a really nice upgrade

I have had a few of these clutches in my 1M.

in my application they are able to hold about 650 ft lb (880Nm) of torque from stage 2 hybrids with E85, but I do use the clutch sympathetically, I do only get about 9-12 months out of a clutch, and I do use boost by gear in the first two cogs to keep it all reigned in.

I would love a clutch that holds more torque so I don't have to baby it so much, but I have been there and hated the way it changed the character of the 1M!

oem clutch on a heavily tuned n54 w/twins must be hard on the clutch.

so you telling me your clutch wont last , but never considered to go with an upgrade ? unless the 1M is very different, you have plenty of choice .

DKM twindisk 'should' be the closest to the oem.
