335i - Now what to do next?
I have a 2007 E90 335i sedan. I have installed the Dual Cone aFe Intake and the JB3 tuner. I am happy with the response that I got from the two of them...but looking for more. I went to the track this last weekend and ran a 13.7 1/4 Mile, crossing at 103MPH on Map 3 of the JB3. It was pretty hot out and people said that "everyone was running bad that day" who knows though. It was my first time out there so again, who knows...I was pretty happy with those times but still want lower numbers.
I am thinking about 3 things to do...Intercooler, Downpipes, and maybe a blow off valve...looking for some advice on which to go with as far as overall performance for the price and that fits well with my existing mods. Also need a place in LA to do the work for an intercooler/downpipes if thats what I decide to go with...Thanks in advance for all the help |

get the FMIC and then DPs and also never overlook Meth injection. with those bolt ons and Meth you can use higher maps. A bigger oil cooler would work also or get the AR Design Add on oil cooler and when you're done, go for the bigger Radiator from AR Design..

intercoolers, downpipes, meth/alcohol, upgraded turbos, turbo/cat-back exhaust, custom maps, *higher octane on trackdays*,some stickier tires will help.
cat-less if your daring. |

you can actually make your own intercooler for $300 or so I heard. Search for Big Tom's thread in the Turbo section. His intercooler looks exactly like the AA but $700 less.

Intercooler, Downpipes, Methanol injection kit, Quaife LSD. Take your time. Doing something new every 6 months or so keep the car feeling brand new.
