Painted 162s?

I am relatively new to this site and BMWs and have posted several messages in the wheels forum so please forgive me for another. I am confused about what wheels to put on my car - '06 Electric Red 330 with style 159. I like so many of the BMW rims, but am leaning towards the 162s.

I know there is a thread here with white 162 wheels on an white 3 series. Just wondering what they would like on my car painted either red or black. Not sure if I would like it, just curious. What do you think?

My PS skills are not good enough yet where I can change wheels on cars. I still need more practice.

Thanks for the help!

I guess it all depends on your taste. IMHO I would not paint them red. I think someone here has tried black before. If you really want to paint them black you should just not wash the car and let the brake dust do its work.

Not sure about painted, but powdercoating would be better, it would hold up longer. That being said, Im not really a fan of body colored wheels unless its white or black. Gun metal is a good looking color for wheels on any car though.

Ultimately its up to you what you like.

I agree and would powdercoat, not paint them. While my photoshop skills are by no means great, they are good enough for me to know that I defiantely do not want red wheels.... - IMO
