Automotive Outfitters (Portland, OR)

I was wondering if anyone has heard of this shop. I called them for a qoute for installing Eibach lowerings springs on my 2006 325i and they said it would cost $200-300 labor and $65 for alignment. It's a really cheap price considering everyone else is charging me $700-800 labor. Any experiences or word of mouth from anyone?

Dux.

Go to Les Schwab. I called them and got a price of $550 installed. I had them do my a4 a few years back and had they bid against each other and got them down to $440 installed.

Good luck!

I called them but they are charging me over $700 b/c it is a newer bmw. I have also contacted firestone, BMW, and various shops. I'm just a little hesitant because $200-300 is too good to be true.

Chriag - while you're a good friend I wouldn't let Speed Concept touch my E90.

A good alignment with the right machine is important on this vehicle. Anyone can align an E90; few can do it correctly. Do you have Active Steering?

I wouldn't let anyone other than a factory trained BMW tech perform this service on my car. There are a number of good shops in the area (ours being the best of course.)

Just a word of caution; remember price isn't everything.

I really want BMW to perform my installation but BMW of Salem is charging me $750 just to install my eibachs, and that does not include alignment. If you can provide me a qoute on how much Rasmussen BMW can perform my installation maybe I can get a better picture. Thanks.

ty works for bmw which is why he wants you to goto bmw probably, nothing wrong with that but you are wasting your money to drop that much cash on a spring install. Speed concept did a great job for my install. Just get it aligned someplace else, u can goto bmw for the alignment or anywhere.
