///M Power Number Plate Holder Surrounds - Opinions??
Could I please ask, what do you guys all think about these number plate surrounds????
They would be going on to a black E92 coupe 320i M Sport. Also does having "///M Power" on a 320i seem stupid? It is an M-Sport? Thanks in advance!

I needed some German plate surrounds for my car so i bought these, look good IMO. Not keen on the ones posted earlier in this thread though. They also do regular BMW ones for those that don't like M Power logos on a non M car.

Each to their own - i have updated my post - the company i bought these from also do regular BMW ones, i believe the OP wants something to improve the look of the plates on his car.

Might be biased but i looked for a while before buying mine and 99% of the surrounds looked very cheap and tacky....incuding the ones above IMO The set i got are very high quality and a bit more discreet which i prefer.

Thanks for the replies,
Correct, i just want to smarten up the crappy looking plates. Is it the actual plate surround or the fact it says M Power instead of M sport? Or everything about them? Could someone please up a picture of the plain(er) looking surrounds you all referenced?? An also what do the dealer ones look like please? I hope you dont mean the really cheap ones you see at halfords?......More like this but with a BMW logo?

People on the forum generally don't like M badges/decals on non M cars - they think the owner of the car is trying to pass their car off as something its not - if you like the M power ones then get them. Here are the plain BMW ones - the quality is excellent. Here is a link to buy if youre interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Licenc...item53e3c1afbe

I have these on my 330d, I hvae no idea why people are so against them. Its not as if your driving around with a coloured light under the car. I personally don't like a car that looks over the top and always like to de-badge etc but I am fine with these. I think alot of people like to step in an say "we know better than that" in a superior type of way.

I have never understood why people fit M Power or even BMW Germany number plate surrounds as they look a bit out of place IMO.
Very dealer dependent but why not get some UK Dealer ones? Wood BMW have some nice surrounds. |
