Is this a serious thread.....you start it like any other car....

Newer cars have more parts(especially electronics). More parts = a better chance of something going wrong.

I'm still puzzled how do you start a car improperly.... Like does Paris Hilton not having watched the video improperly start the car because she is a blonde airhead?

If as the OP suggests there is an improper way to start the car then how would one know that the car is/had been improperly started.

Or as the OP eluded to does it somehow screw with the "Fuel Cell" and if it does how much does a "Fuel Cell" cost to replace?

Sometimes, if it's cold in the mornings, I first pull the choke and gradually turn if off as the car is warming up. Helps with misfire. I have Premium Package, so my car came with the priming bulb which I depress before starting.

Hope this helps and good luck.

If only you knew the history of the original poster. You'd know exactly why this thread is in existence.

On a serious note, how do we properly fill up the gas tank of a BMW? I heard if you fill it up with the wrong procedures, the car will explode.

Of course this thread is not a joke. When I took my driver's test, the butler drove me there, and he started and shifted the car for me. I did not know after getting my license that I was supposed to drive the car myself. I was so mad at my parents.

Before you do anything else, beware of the ash tray hatch on the side of the car, you need to open that up before you can fillup

-lift the hatch
-remove the ash tray
-put out your cigar
-now procede to fill up
