Current discounts on E9X
I am going to need to buy a car in the next couple of weeks .
From my checking around DRIVE THE DEAL seams the best way to go does anyone have any horror stories . I think i will buy a new e91 m sport buisness edition in space grey buisness edition gives you buisness nav,leather,18"alloys for £1000.plus the price of the car and metallic paint I was told last month that cars being supplied with the Highline pack didnt receive the BMW dealer support pack of around £1500 on a e92 coupe . Before i get raped at a dealers can anyone advise . Best regards Scooba |

you should be able to get 10% atleast from any BMW dealer. If you don't take your money elsewhere.

DRive the deal are fine. You pay your £500 deposit and then you deal direct with the dealership. simple. V low risk.

As said above drive the deal have brokered the deal up front for you and you just pay a fee for it. But you will deal with the supplying dealer.
They are probably one of the cheapest around at this time the price is circa 15% discount, did you not say in a thread the other day that bmw are now giving £2k support on the 3 series to the dealers. |

I'd suggest going to a dealer first and try to build a relationship, if they don't budge then goto these middlemen.

2004 Honda S2000 [0.00] 2005 Nissan 350Z GT ... [0.00] 2006 E92 BMW 335i SE [9.00] 2003 Maserati 4200 [6.00] 2006 E90 330d M Sport [0.00] |
When I bought my S2000 I printed off the page from driveadeal (or similar website) and took it to the dealer. They matched it (admittedly begrudgingly).

Scooba,
Just get the dealers to BEAT the broker quote. They will do it, then you are buying from a dealer of your choice. Twice now I've first got broker quotes on the exact spec i wanted and then got my main dealer to beat them. First was from DTD in 2006 which took a bit of haggling for them to beat it, then this year with my 335i they beat Broadspeed instantly (well it took 5 minutes). I had to pay £30(ish) for the printed broker quote, but well worth it IMO. I got just over 13% off the 335i from Williams BMW in Manchester City Centre, 13% was the best broker price available in Feb this year. Interestingly in Feb DTD were offering about £2 off the list!! Just get your spec nailed 100% before you start and stick to it.... Good luck |

Small deposit, then transaction was handled very efficiently direct with the dealer. If you want to get the dealer to price match, don't pay for a printed copy of the broker quote. Just do a printscreen of the page and use that. When I bought my car the dealer used his own PC to check the drive the deal price I asked him to match. |

Emailed to the dealer tonight and waiting for a response tomorrow. Got a good offer for my px current car so I hope they'll match DTD for the new car. Although, not sure they will match it as Drive The Deal currently offer -7K on the E92 330d Msport auto with a couple of options (well some nice expensive one) I am looking for. Still got the option for going for a used one nearly new.... Steph |

Have a look through the window at the whiteboard in the office where the sales manager sits... just off the main showroom. It shows the names of all the sales people and their targets and actual sales figures. In January when I bought the new Z4 the actual and target figures were miles apart!
