Went to buy a new phone in January and ended up with 32g iPad. I love it! I was the first to "hate" on 'em, but I use it more (excluding work) than our other 4 (top of the line) macs.

Definitely wouldn't use it in place of a laptop, but if it's just a frivolous purchase, doooooo eeeeet!

I always said if you have an iPhone why would you ever need an iPad, but once you use it and then go back to the phone, the iphone seems sooooo small and slow.

Negatives are no flash (but seems like most websites have an alternate, I'd say only 1 out of 50 times I miss out on something), doesn't come with some standard apps that the phone comes with, typing is a little difficult, needs a hot spot (mine does) and no vibrate.

Maybe not a gigantic upgrade from the original but still is very impressive. The fact that it's still the same price isn't good news for LG and RIM.

People should know better than to buy the first gen of any apple product. The first thing I said when this came out was that I planned to wait for gen II with a camera.

I will use a tablet for entertaining myself on the go..trips etc. Since it does everything you really need to entertain yourself. That said i would like something where i can bring movies with me and more than one which is easy if u can just use SD cards. I'd rather just bring those then have to worry about filling up the tablet or buying the most expensive one and still being worried.
