Help: Brake light and traction control light while driving
I had three lights flash on while driving. Yellow brake yellow traction control light and and exclamation point with circle and (○) around it. Any ideas what this could be? (2012 BMW 335i n55) also getting code P10D9 if anyone knows what causes that also, I'm lost.

Check your sensor for damage and/or loose connection. May have to replace or if possible clean.

I'm thinking it may just be a bad sensor like you mentioned in my other post.. Talked to my local delaership and they price matched fcp euro! (Which is new didn't think they'd do that) with a new sensor picking it up tomorrow hopefully it fixes the issue.

Remove connections (Jb4) and see if the car will start. Re-install connections and make sure you have a good ground. You need codes for further solutions.

I was looking around the hpfp and I noticed the round drum piece with the lip around it came off the hpfp. I put it back into the pump maybe that's what's causing this there was also alot of oil around it.

Ive heard this problem before and not saying itll help you but your regulator could be going bad causing the car to hesitate upon start up. i still believe your problem could be the sensor, But it seems you should check the complete fuel system to find your issue. (HPFP, LPFP, Fuel regulator, Fuel rail sensor)

However there is a difference between high imedence OPEN circuit where the DME thinks oh the sensor is not even installed and a ZERO output but the DME knows that sensor is installed. So you need to read the sensor value to know more.. I somehow was getting water on top of that sensor causing issues. |
