should be alright with 235/265s, might have some problem on both front and rear with 245/275s. with minor fenderroll in the back, 235/275 will work though...

What would be the best way to do a fender roll by myself? How much do you think 245s would rub?

IMO - Pay the money... it will be cheaper than fixing the mess up.... that tool looks expensive too..... I don't imagine you can get that tool at Roy's Rental shop next to the roto tiller.

Suck it up, and pay it. Just my 2 cents.

I am worried about inside strut rubbing on the front. I don't want to mess with camber. You are sure I will be fine without spacers?

I tought I had this all figured out but after reading the last couple posts I'm not sure. Number wise it should fit but real world I'm not so sure. 245/275 with et32/et35 using ps2's. I'm not lowered but MAY do a modest drop in the distant future. I know there might be problems if I choose to drop but what about stock suspension.

I am running a General Exclaim UHP tires of 235/35 in front and 265/30 in rear on M6 style replicas in sizes 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 in rear with 35 offset without any rubbing issues at all.

I was thinking of switching the rear tire size to 275/30 and it seems like it should work without rubbing. What do you guys think?.....anyone running 275/30 rear with 35 offset.

Oh and I am not lowered it is stock suspension with sport package.

Current setup on stock suspension (E92 335i), no rubbing:
- front: 19x8.5 +32 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 235/35/19
- rear: 19x9.5 +32 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 265/30/19

I'm thinking of dropping on Eibach Pro-kit, do you guys think I will rub in the rear or have restricted turning with the fronts?

i'm currently running 275s with ET35 with H&R sport, no issues at all but my fender is rolled prior to this setup already... if you are on stock suspension, you should be ok, it may rub on dips occasionally, then try run neg camber, if it still rubs, then you gotta either roll the fender or move down to 265s. i wouldn't worry too much about it though...

Going 1 or 2 sizes up on 19" 230 rims with PS2s - what is going to happen?

I have 230 rims, with stock RFTs. I am going with PS2 tires - not bought yet... need to figure out my size.

1) I have heard it is ok to put 235/35/19 and 265/30/19
- tires is bigger, what does it do to my the handling?
- does the tire bulge over the rim?
- this seems like the safest option

2) The dealer said I could put 245/35/19 and 265/30/19
- try to get a more square setup reduce understeer - is what they said
- tires is bigger, what does it do to my the handling/grip
- I haven't seen anybody do this setup... I am worried.

3) Some other members have gone with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 on 230s
- these are 8" and 9" rims - the manufactures say 8" to 9" but recommend 8.5" rims.... if we put them on the min rim size, it must be ok, but what does it really mean in real life handling.
- one member has picks of his 230s with this size in the nitto 255s, the car looks ok

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163082

My questions are related to handling mainly, I want the best handling I can get and reduce understeer by putting more grip up front (I am going to look at mods) - but from a straight tire perspective - what size should I go with in the PS2?

Thanks, great thread
