Supersprint Full Exhaust System
I was thinking on upgrading my exhaust system and I found the Supersprint full Exhaust system. Includes Headers, Metallyc Catalist, pipes with or without resonator and muffler. Is anyone running this Exhaust system yet? If you are what is your experience? If not, What you think about this upgrade?

doesn't look bad but you will probably need to shell out a shitload of $$$$ for this setup which brings about the debate of whether or not its worth it. I'd really want to hear that with all the different setups before i spend anywhere near that amount.

Had a Supersprint system on my old 325Ci
They're Whores...Unless they've cleaned up their act I doubt the system will produce 10k worth of power gains. |

Your biggest gains on that system will come from the headers... this is obviously because you would be removing the catalysts that reside in the stock exhaust manifolds. This typically yields a healthy gain in torque and horse power across the rev band.
I believe the headers alone cost about 1500 bucks??? The downside is that you need to get O2 simms so that you're car won't throw CELs ... I don't know if a any software tuning is required. Also, I don't know if these headers bolt up directly to the stock exhaust or not. If the headers alone can be bolted to the stock exhaust, than they are probably worth assuming you are ok with having a CEL or getting O2 simms to avoid the CELs. Assuming optimized fueling, I would expect the headers to free up about 10% horsepower at peak and something like 10 ft-lbs of torque across the rev band on average. |

It seems like supersprint is not well recommended. What system will you guys recommend as the best set up for my 330xi?

Eisenmann/Eisenhaus cat-back systems for the E90 are supposed to be top of the line for a resonable amount of $$$.
If you have Supersprint type $$ to spend you can't go wrong with AC Schnitzer or Hamann |

You're paying an extra for brand name and different tip design. Hamann is also SuperSprint. |

The supersprint headers are where its at... If I were to do a full exhaust with money not being too important, I would do the Supersprint front section (headers, then high-flow cats) and fit a Borla muffler. Of course this would also require that something be done to avoid getting "Check Engine" Lights! |

I am concerned about the check emgine light thing. What parts can I replace without having warnings pop up on my dash?

THe other option, and probably more likely, is to get O2 sensor simulators... they basically send a fake signal to the ECU. There is possibly a third option which might work... you may be able to relocate the O2 sensors that are normally at the end of the exhaust manifold downstream of the catalytic converters... be it the stock ones or the supersprint high-flow ones should you choose to go that root. Supersprint may be able to help you with any of the these options. |

nice product, but very expensive, i would get eisenman race cat back and supersprint headers they go together ive done it, got rid of the headers only because it was loud, but power gains were very noticable, sorry i have no sound clip but ill find it for you because someone had same setup like me.

I dont think that you are going to get the check engine light if you do the complete exhaust. As epiphone mentions, when you remove the factory headers you remove the cats that have connectors for the O2 sensors but, in the supersprint system, the holes for the sensors are still there just moved away from the headers and on to the metallic cats. You might need to splice and extend the wires for the sensors in this system but you shouldnt have a CEL. Call a dealer/installer of this system beforehand to be sure of this. As other people mentioned, this is a reputable brand, just very expensive and the appreciation of the euro doesnt help.

Thank you all, I am noe learning a lot about exhaust systems. I,ve been looking around and Eisenmann and Remus look really good and the prices are a lot better. About ACS, I checcked with the dealer and the price is so ridicoulous, I dont want to mention it. Worst than Supersprint, then think about the Eiro exchange, killer. I still have time to look around since can't drive my car for ten months. Keep the suggstions comming, they are very helpful and I am learning a lot. Thank you all.
