I've been the past 4 years and it's a great time. It's also growing every year. I believe there were about 6000 cars there last year.

There is a group of VAG guys heading over from TX (and I'm sure surrounding areas)

They are more or less blocking any non VAG cars this year from what I have heard. Kind of a bummer as I just parted my built R32 that I never made it to a show in and now my new car is black listed

they're still letting bmw's onto the show grounds. parking my car on show grounds is the least of my concerns though. it's just an all around great time with a lot of cool people and incredible cars

I'd love to go, seems we could do with another south/central show. Sowo has gotten crazy big.

i love it. it's a ball every year and honestly keeps getting better. and i found a hotel that is only like 40-50$ a night or something like that!

Im going to be attending SoWo this year and im heading out from Mcallen Tx about 4hrs south of San Antonio. Out of 4-5 cars that had planned the trip im the last one left that is actually going to make it Id like to join up with others as well for the drive shoot me a PM
