I was going to get coil overs but got the original Perf Dampers and yellow springs. Do I dare say that the ride is so perfect that I would be scared to now move to Coilovers and have it change.. I love the ride. Just wish it was a little lower.

That last part is why I didn't do it. Not enough differece from stock sport suspension

H&R sports are generally for truck racing not for street every day driving

ok, this might be a stupid question.........

I have sport suspension, and from what I understand, it's about .75-1 in lower than the non sport version......

So.....If I were to get lowering springs, and the spec for the lowering springs are 1.25 in, wouldn't that be only .25-.50 in lower than my sport suspension?

Does that make sense?

TIA

Same suspension setup here and while it's stiff, I'm betting the tires have a lot to do with it. Hopefully getting new non-RFT's soon. I don't mind how it feels, I just hate the harshness when hitting small bumps and road imperfections. There is construction EVERYWHERE in NoVa, which makes the roads almost unbearable to drive on.

I had run flats and it sucks. Went to 19' inch VMR's with KW V1's dropped the front 1.5-1.7 and dropped the rear to 1.8 and the car is a totally different animal. The handle is a different world then the Run-flats. Get rid of them and you will love the car.

I have the same setup as you ... frankly, with the RFT's they were really rough, now that I have non-RFT's the ride is much better .. it is still harsh but not enough to piss off my wife ... which is the true test

Pretty sure you won't have any problems with the 255.

Can you please check the numbers on springs, D7-D4 (manual) or D7-D5 (usually auto)
