It is yet to be posted whether someone has gone in for a service after installing the new software/hardware tunes. The V3 and JB3 are so new that is pretty unlikely that anyone has brought their car in for an update. If I did have either of those tunes I still would be slightly nervous when dropping my car off. We will know more by December I think. Someone will be the tester for us all.

Sorry newbie question, but does anyone know if I can install JB3 while still in break-in period?

I currently have under 200 miles on the car, and concerned with the addition of the extra power, my lead foot will disregard all speed and rpm guidelines for break-in's.

Taking my car in for a HPFP replacement this Thursday. Had the Jb3 installed for about 300miles and then removed it. No codes were ever thrown so I will let you know how it goes. I am running v80 29.2 btw. Praying the Jb3 is truly "invisible"

I Will keep this thread updated. Uninstall went super smooth and no codes or hickups going back to stock. Everything seems intact and am hoping for the best

can anyone answer this question??

thanks

I had my service tech verify what version they installed last week. They originally told me 30.2, now they tell me 30.0.2 and it is the the latest available in the states. My car is an 01/08 build, I'm not sure what version it had when I bought it last month but it did not have lag and now it does. My car is bone stock and I'm taking it back Tuesday to have them look at it. They did say it could be a pinched vacuum hose, but I doubt it very much. I don't have a JB3 so not sure if this answers your question.

my mistake: regarding the new turbo lag, is the 30.0 software better than the 29.2??

...i got 29.2 updated (arrrrgh) and it really sucks. dealer told me 30.0 MAY be better
