M3 Private plate on 335D
I've had my 335d for over 2 years and was planning to put my M3 private on but after joining this forum and my gut instinct I haven't.
I know its not a M3 but would like to use it rather than leaving it on retention. Whats your opinions (be nice) |

People who don't know what an M3 is, won't realise anything odd.
People who do know what an M3 is, but can't tell the difference between an M and your car won't realise anything is odd. People who do know what an M3 is, and can tell the difference all wear anoraks and frequent this forum. So don't worry about it. Get the plate on, that's what they're for! |

I don't see the issue..just cos it says m3 doesn't mean can only be used on m3. Sometimes ppl may have plates are totally irrelevant yet by chance may may be seen to represent a certain car.

So that means if you own a number plate with C3 XXX you can only ever use it in a citroen c3?
Don't worry about it, nobody will care. |

Just do it - a plate with your initials on it is fundamentally a personal thing, not an M thing. Totally different to sticking a badge in the car.
Anyone who is that offended by it needs to pull the stick out of their arse. I never worry about the opinions of those who (most likely) keep their socks on when having sex. |
