When you order part # 61122181307, it should be one bag with two harnesses inside. The reason I say this is because I have seen someone order 2x Part #61122181307 (thinking that you need one for each) but ended up with 4x harnesses. Let us know what you got.

Rear light in trunk lid, right 63217289428 ($97.04) Rear light in the side panel, left 63217289429 ($159.43) Rear light in the side panel, right 63217289430 ($159.43) Trunk lid 41627209701 ($452.96) Grommet 51148209932 ($0.16) x2 (Not sure if these come with the lights or if you need to purchase separately. I wouldn't be surprised if they came already in the lights if you buy just the part nos. above). Bulb socket,rear light in trunk lid,left 63217211211 ($17.38) Bulb socket,rear light in trunk lid,right 63217211212 ($17.38) Bulb socket, rear light side panel, left 63217211213 ($17.38) Bulb socket, rear light side panel,right 63217211214 ($17.38) Coding is required for proper function of the turn signals and elimination of bulb check errors. BMW Sells a harness for the inner (trunk lid) lights, but it is not required. What you need to do is pop open the connectors running to the trunk lid lights, and rearrange the pin connectors as shown: Last edited by yakev724; 11-09-2011 at 09:06 PM.. |

So regardless of whether you order this kit from Tischer or not, you still need to do this coding, correct?
And who has the PN for the FRM3 module? |

You don't need an FRM3. There are people who can code out the errors for FRM1 cars even. You should have FRM2. |

=== UPDATE ===
Sorry guys. It seems that bmwmercedesparts updated their prices so upgrading the LCI taillights via this route is no longer worthwhile. Better to just order the kit directly from Tischer! Last edited by JunkStory; 11-14-2011 at 05:14 PM.. |

I take it you got this done. Who did you use for coding in Vancouver?
Thanks for sharing. Quote:

Currently a couple sets in stock! (depending on which option is selected).
Regardless, it's only about 2 business days for us to get more from BMW should we be out at the time your order is placed. Thanks again!

But to do it the BMW way, yes they want you to use FRM3.

Bmwmercedeaparts price is still lower than tischer for $30 but they ship it like a week after order place. And they only send me one harness instead of 2. Seems like they just bag 1 harness for me and didnt find out that 1 order should come with 2.
Tischer ftw |

So what did you do? Did they send you another one? Because, I'm in the same situation, having ordered from BMWmercedesparts and only got 1 harness

For those like me who missed the tischer black friday deal - www.bmwmercedesparts.com is having a free shipping special on orders over $300 for the month of december so the total comes out to 537.71 now. I also added motor oil, wheel cleaner, all-season floor mats, windshield wipers and fluid since their prices were pretty good.

yes you would.
Has anyone ordered the tails from BMWmercedesparts.com lately? It still seems like a cheap enough option as of right now. also when you search these parts, do you only need the actual light part? or do you need all the little extras like the seal and the spacer? |
