That's exactly right I don't have ticking or any codes or anything so will replace these but now I know what wdgc should be I will investigate

Too bad you're in Aussy.. shipping to the states? Also, how many miles on them?

I'm also just going to throw this out there in case anyone has input:

I'm flashed with Cobb (i'm not sure if the car does this without the tune) and sometimes, usually in 3rd or 4th gear at 3-4k RPM the boost sounds like it's spooling up and the car barely moves and then it feels like something attaches or reconnects and then it pulls.

It wouldn't make sense for it to be anything pressurized because as boost builds, in theory it would only get worse. After boost hits a certain point, it 'opens up' or 'connects' and then I'm good until the next pull. After doing some reading, I'm thinking it has something to do with the WG or solenoids.

The only code I ever throw is 30ff but that specific boost problem is not even what causes the code. Although, it might be. I used to get 30ff with the DV's being weird and I didn't get it for a while, but now I am.

I didn't have this problem before when I used to get 30ff.

Any input?

After a lot of research I have realise the boost solenoids actually fixes a lot of boost issues . Boost solenoids , boost vacuum hoses , intercooler hoses , leaking diverter vales and bov are common culprits

Looks like I'll have to try that out. After that, the waste gates. After that.. well, back to the drawing board. I appreciate your input!

It does sound like boost solenoids or failing wastegates, however you should start simple and replace all vacuum lines first!
