BMW anchors to a center bolt; the bar in the link has no anchor. A thought: Replacing the brace might be the last thing to do - have you upgraded control arms, camber arms & links, sways, diff; subframe bushings? |

I have this exact same strut bar on my 07 335i.
Be aware - mine did not bolt on correctly and needed some modifiying. The drivers side is perfect but when you line up the passenger side mount on the strut tower, the one of the bolt holes does nto work. I ended up doing some grinding and shaving to get it on. Only took 30 min but thought you should know. It also blocks access to the washer filler which adds another step when running mehanol in the WW tank. It is cheap and does its job but it is not perfect. |

And it prolly also blocks the oil fill cap - meaning you will have to unbolt one side & swivel it up out of the way to be able to open your oil fill cap...
Strut bars don't really do too much on our cars for DD (unless maybe during tracking). I have one on mine and couln't tell any difference. Now on my Trans Am, a strut bar had a noticeable effect on the handling

thank you guys. I'm familiar with power tools so shaving and grinding won't hold me back tho, but it sux that you buy something and hope for perfect fit and it's not. In the other hand removing and intalling it back again is going to be annoying, but i got time to decide, once again guys thanks.

Stock brace works fine - invest in coilovers instead. Koni FSD's an excellent first mod for DD - designed for stock springs. |
