Hi folks,

I JUST acquired this intake through a package deal from another local member on here. He guesstimates that it was on for only 10,000kms. I have no use for it and purchased it with the sole intention of reselling. It came off an e90 328xi. Comes with a bottle of the cleaning solution and oil. Was cleaned and re-oiled after it was taken off.

I'm asking $250. Pickup is available during the week by Yorkdale Mall (Sheppard/Allen) or during evenings/weekends in Richmond Hill by Yonge/Elgin Mills. Lots of feedback from all types of forums under the same username.

I have this intake and it's great. just make sure you do the MAF position FIX. Look for it in the NA forums.
IMO, it's not a "good to have" fix, but a MUST.

I have the exact AFE system in my car and the fix is a must. I still have 4 delrin adapters for sale for $40 (most of them are 50-60 and are aluminum.) As said its not a "meh maybe ill try" its deff a MUST.

2 mins to install and a total change in how your car drives.

Not trying to highjack your post, AFE kit has had a bad rep and meanwhile I havent heard a nicer sounding intake, if afe only fixed this issue it would be perfect.

Also not trying to thread hi-jack, but i think we can one step better the intake by using some heat resistant foam material to really incase the shield/intake from the engine heat. When the hood closes, it'll press on the foam, effectively creating an enclosed box, as it's pretty open now.

I haven't had a chance to look for such engine compartment heat resistant foam. If anyone knows of such workable foam, holla!

I have this intake on my car, but obviously the dual version for the N54. i find it to be a lot nicer than the BMS DCI i had on before, which provided NO heat-shielding whatsoever, and didn't look nearly as "complete" as this does.
