How To -DIY- Doorhandle LEDs
For Starters you need 4 (12v 30A SPDT 5 Terminal Relays). The LEDs are wired in sequence so that when one gets power they all do. This is why you need the relays, so that when you want "ONE" led to get power it will disconnect that LED from the rest on the circuit. Here is a basic diagram of how you should wire the car. If you want to wire up a toggle switch, like I did, you just need to wire it to before one of the relays on the LED Circuit and all of the LEDs will come on. (Make sure not to have the Toggle switch ON when you want to run the blinkers if you want them to blink because they'll just be switching between power sources and stay on.)
Here's a couple vids of them in action. Vid 1 Turn Signals Vid 2 Toggle Switch |

That is cool.. Like how they blink in unison with the blinkers... that would help so much driving at night changing lanes in Cali...

that is a great mod. Impressive wiring. No way I'm trying this, though... I'd fry the whole system. Kudos to you, man.

Good job but to each their own. Personally I like my BMW to be viewed as
a BMW and not to be mistaken for an 18 wheeler. What's next? A glowing michelin man at the top? |

Pretty impressive wiring job. But to me this puts your car in the same league as the purple neon underneath the car crowd.
