What Apline said. The reps are flexable and won't break very easily

Thanks for the info everyone. Just curious if this is the Extreme Dimensions rep or a different brand. Maybe if I cut back on the coffee and candy I could save enough chump change to buy myself the front lip for Christmas. lol

Nice find! I search the FS threads looking for exactly this, but it looks like I was too late again.

To some of you forum veterans, has anyone dealt with the member Spool? I'd hate to get scammed for my hard earned money. I'm interested in the lip, but shipped unboxed in bubble wrap??? That's gotta be asking for trouble.

He has sold over 20 items on here and has positive feedback on
all of them. Not sure about the no box thing, unless he bubbles wraps it ridiculously, because if he does ridiculously it sounds like it should be
fine since the reps are pretty tough and flexible.

EDIT: I see you bought it. Tell us how it looks/fits. Or leme come check it out

Yeah I bit the bullet. I thought it was a good price, even if it needs a respray. He offered full refund if it gets damaged during shipment. It should be here by Thursday next week so I will find out soon enough.

With the great deal you got on it, respraying it will still leave you under budget.

From personal experience, keep a bottle of touch-up paint handy. Rock chips are going to happen. It's inevitable. Just touch them up and it'll keep looking new.

My front lip is already beat to shit just from driving to work. I just accept I have to get it redone every couple years.

Dyno Day fun

This coming Saturday 11/1.
http://www.tennesspeed.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=48277

There will be a few cars down there. Myself and an E46 M3 representing the BMW camp. The shop is in Calhoun, GA, about half an hour south of Chattanooga, and is an AWD Dyno Dynamics (accepts FWD and RWD cars too).

I'd love to see some of you come down and hang out or dyno. Please let me know if you are interested.

I was strongly considering downpipes, but I need to save my cash for other things (like baby #2 arriving late March).

would any of you guys drive on a RFT that's been plugged? the plug is in the tread, not close to the outside, but still.

I don't think RFT's were ever intended to be plugged. I dunno.

Apparently the consensus on the forum is that RFTs aren't recommended to be plugged, but as long as its in the tread and not the sidewall, you're fine.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, myself.
