Eastern CT roads and new wheels/tires

Hey guys I\'m looking to get new wheels and tires and live in eastern CT. The roads aren\'t in very good conditions, have a lot of bumps and potholes in the city roads. Does anyone live over here with 18s or 19s? I want to get 19s but with the condition of the roads, I don\'t want them to crack or even worse.

You don't want to drive in 19's if you're going to worry about that kind of stuff. You probably want to stay OEM rims, too, since they're generally sturdier than most aftermarket stuff.

It's a tough choice. 19's will have the better look, but 18's will have better ride quality. Bad enough potholes can crack a 16" wheel, just go with what you want

LMK if you need any pricing, we carry pretty much all wheel brands

They can't be worse than Jersey lol. I got 18s because of this. Used to have 20s. NEVER AGAIN. 18 is a safe choice.

TRUST ME go 18's..and go monoblock forged while you're at it have a set of VOLK ce28's on my sti and they have seen hell and back( potholes, track collisions) and still not even a slight bend. the bmw though-i went through five sets of 19" wheels in a year in NJ and every wheel company failed to do anything for me claiming it's my fault.

That's what I'm afraid of but I don't think the roads are quite as bad NJ lol.
