I agree, I don't like tapping becase there is always a chance of tap coming undone or loose.. besides this will leave all wires intact!

looks awesome! Just too bad you didn't post DIY on it... I'll try to put as much detailed pix while making it happen!

DIY isn't necessary for the E60 since it's been long talked about for over two years now.

You E92 guys have it easy. The headlights bake open. I can probably finish your's in an afternoon, even with painting

Whaaat, no Monday off?!

Actually, Umnitza received the shipment on Saturday, and got it to me the following Monday evening.

I basically went to town on it and had it done by Tuesday morning. I am hardcore like that.

Sorry dude, it will not apply to you. E90 and E92 headlights are different. E92s bake, you gotta cut your E90 headlights.

I actually saw people bake theirs and heat-gun it open, but it's a bitch and it takes forever!

E90s? I am sure you're mistaken.

I have personally worked on pre-LCI and LCI E90s and E92s, so I have first hand experience with all 4 headlights.

E90 headlights are perma-sealed.

Finally someone made a real DIY on led angel eye rings

I always wondered how these things get wired to power. Can't wait to see the rest.

The inner rings from Umnitza are larger than my old ones so I could not just replace old ae rings and instead I ended up painting them black and putting the new rings on top of the old ones, you can't even see the difference, as soon as the glue dries out I will take some pictures for you guys!

Alright, over all my comment is that this DIY is not impossible but you have to be patient and it takes a lot of your day....
