Thinnest breathable car cover for E93
I've got an E93 on order, and it will be parked outside a good part of the time, both at work as well as in front of my house (until I can get the garage cleared out). I would like to get a cover for it, but because of the limited storage space in that car, I'd like to get the thinnest (lightest) cover I can find that will still be breathable and offer some decent protection. I know some of these qualities are mutually exclusive, but I'm hoping to find a good compromise out there. In order of importance, they would be:

I realize ding protection is a relative term, but some covers out there actually advertise ding protection as a quality...although they are usually made from pretty bulky fabric. They probably just offer some protection from stuff blowing around outside...

Is it a full cover or just covers the seats when the top is down ? Do they even make a partial cover ?

forgive me if im wrong, but why would you need a cover for just the seats when you have a retractable hard roof which can be deployed in 30 seconds or less?

Thanks. I ended up finding the link: http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemVi...&productId=132
Any thoughts on how these compare to other brands? The searches I've done seem to indicate that, while the OEM is bulkier than some aftermarket products, it offers really good protection. |

Does anybody know what fabric the OEM one is made of? Is it NOAH? It looks like Weathershield might be the best fit for my original post criteria.

you'll like it... the car cover itself has like a built in storage bad as part of it.. looks kind of like a little suitcase when you get it...
