BIMMERPOST once again sponsored the most recent Airstrip Attack, a two day runway shootout race event held at the Coalinga Municipal Airport in Coalinga, California.

The following race featured a ESS VT600 Supercharged M3 vs 335i RB Turbos .

RB turbo cars are BEAST! for the money, there so fast. The M3 looks like he got a slight jump and didn't win by as much as I would have thought.

Don't forget the fifth gear problems on the RB'ed car.

What's up guys. Sick335's ride is no joke. I made 570 wheel with the ESS VT2 blower and the catless x-pipe and as you can see it was very close. On this run, Sick spun a little more that I did as he was in the bad lane.

We ran the day before but I had the bad lane and Sick had the good lane. I spun badly and hit fuel cut-off in 2nd gear and lost all momentum so Sick put a good 6 cars on me.

I hear he has more planned with this beast and I look forward to running him again.

Good run Adam. In a fair race(equal start, and road conditions) Adams SC M3 would still win, but it would be damn close. Looking forward to our tie breaker!

So none of the Vishnu single turbo guys made it to the event? Am I missing something? I was really looking forward to the single turbo guys representing....
