TBI kit incompatibility

So after a few weeks wait today was the day ill finally install my fuel-it TBI kit. Something that i cant recall seeing anywhere is that this does not work if you are running a tial BOV with ER chargepipe. The location of where the BOV is located is perfect so that when you install the spacer the BOV wont fit anymore. . It is better to have a charge pipe where the BOV is located closer to the end of the charge pipe. Just a heads up for anyone looking to do that. Seems my ER chargepipe will be for sale soon.

I have a Tial BOV with VRSF Chargepipe. Was looking into Steve's TBI. Would my setup work? Can someone with experience care to chime in?

Thanks!

So the Tial BOV hits the inner fender with the TBI plate? I noticed there wasn't too much clearance there, but didn't think the TBI plate was that thick.

ER Chargepipe is what they will be using because of where you want the BOV to be compared to other chargepipes. ER has really taken control of F8X N55's and S55's compared to the N54 market IMHO....They make a SOLID product as well and you know how the saying goes..."you get what you pay for".

I would really like to go with the port injection setup since you don't ever have to worry about running out of fuel at that peak RPM range as long as you do the fuel-it stage 3 kit....Go BIG or go HOME
just my 2cents

Just go with BMS or VRSF ones, a pipe is a pipe... as long as the fitment is good, it is good enough.

Also, I would recommend staying with stock DVs. From my personal experience, I actually worse boost response with those upgraded DVs due to the heavier and slower responding valves, and I would expect most BOVs to be the same as well...

Yea the ER was aligned in a different way to allow for other intakes to fit like Injen.

This is a very helpful thread for future purchasers though as I haven't seen this compatibility concern mentioned yet.

I can try and take some pictures. I am not the one doing the install so with my pics you guys will have to use your imagination based on the current position of the BOV.

Edit: pardon the poor quality.. Photos wont upload with regular camera from phone so i had to do it using front camera as a selfie so i cant really see what im taking the pic of lol.... Anyways. See how close BOV is to firewall. When spacer goes on it doesnt fit anymore

But RHD though...not sure if that makes a difference or not, but still obviously a statement worth adding an asterisk too.
