Any concerns with oil damaging your MAP sensor?
Does more dirt reach the combustion chamber?
Does engine oil get dirtier, and need to be changed more often?

Thanks.
Were these serious questions?

No.
No.
Seriously?

To your first question of course you can damage it when you clean and reoil it(too much oil can damage it).

I'm debating between this or the aFe pro dry s filter.

Did you ever change it?

I was thinking of swapping out my stock filter with my HP Autowerk filter gathering dust on the porch come springtime, but I'm not convinced there any gains to be had.

I agree. But even if there is, I hate to reoil something with possibly damaging my MAF sensor. A few people I know have done it. A dry one sounds more reasonable for me.

Garage List
If you're worried about oil, you can try putting the filter in a pillowcase and vigorously swing it around a bit to get air going through it and some excess oil off before putting it back in the car. Obviously you'll want to make sure you don't hit anything, so do this outdoors (where people can watch and judge you) or in a big room indoors (where your friends/family can watch and judge you).

For those interested in this filter, they aren't continuing it. They are also out of stock.

Doesn't surprise me. I don't think the HP claims they made were nearly based in reality.

I agree. I bought the aFe pro dry filter instead.
