Sloppy- Do you have the latest dme software? I was having the same transmission issues then took it in to get updated. No issues ever since! Car is running great, and more importantly, shifting great!

Really? My car shifts perfectly without the tune. I'm on the original software that came with the car built on Sept. 2010

I was on the same software. Bought my car in July 2010. It has been a night and day difference. I used to hate pulling slowly away from a stop sign in drive as it would slam into 3rd gear. Now it shifts like it should. Buttery smooth!

I have update and it slams into third still. Did you just boost like 5 psi when it shifted and get jolted. So annoying

Did you have this problem from the factory on a stock car? Or did it start happening with the procede?

Reason I'm asking is that I initially had a rev2 with initial maps around nov2010. That had a shift issue. Then newer maps came out that fixed it for me.

Now I'm on rev3 with the latest meth maps and the shift issue is back. To me it's tune related because my map0 shifts perfectly.

I have just installed the Procede Rev 3 on my 335i and I am not sure about stages and maps. My car is stock plus the procede. When I received the packaging it stated it was Stage 1, 11-25? What about the firmware? Do I need to upgrade straight away?

I have tried to read the documentation and gone through forums and it is all abit confusing for a novice like me.

What are the stages? What map should I use? I am currently on map one I think?

Sorry for being a noob

Stage 0 - 91 (95 RON) stock
Stage 1 - 93 (98 RON) stock
Stage 2 - 93 (98 RON) Mildly modded
Stage 3 - 93 (98 RON) FBO

From memory

The latest firmware would be 3-17 for N54.

Just use map 1 - you don't need to worry about other map unless your running meth or modifying the maps.

Thanks Rai should have asked you.

Not sure how I ended up in the N55 thread:
