Okay our parking and seats have been reserved ... Please let me know if you don't know where to go. We can do a pre-meet before we head over to GoodWill.
Here is a detail list of things you can bring for donation (from Todd CLH) What donations does Goodwill need the most? Goodwill Industries is looking for any of the following items that are in clean, saleable condition. Our definition of clean, saleable condition is.....you would give it to a good friend. * Women's, men's and children's clothing * Kitchen and housewares * Dishes, pots & pans, cooking & serving containers * Shoes and boots * Books * Linens and domestic items * Stuffed animals * Collectibles How do I know if Goodwill cannot use something? Some items cost more to transport, repair or refurbish than they can be sold for in our stores, taking money away from our mission. Others are not recyclable or contain hazardous waste, and present potential liability issues. Goodwill cannot use or cannot accept and therefore declines donations of the following items: * Toys - Due to the recent product recalls and safety concerns, Goodwill is currently not accepting any toys with the exception of stuffed animals. * Any Disassembled Machinery or Furniture; Wall/Bathroom fixtures * Aquariums (Used; needs cleaning) * Baby Car Seats, Strollers, Swings, Cribs, High Chairs, Booster Seats, Walkers, Bouncers, Playpens, Gates, Changing Tables, Used Baby Bathtubs * Beds, Bunk Beds, Mattresses, Box Springs, Bed Frames, Hospital Beds * Bicycles (Used, Rusty or Needing Repair; Tires must be inflated) * Car Parts, Tires, Wheels or Tool Sheds * Chemicals, Paints, Poisons, Oils, Etc. * Computers, Laptops, Old Monitors (except flat screen), Accessories - Mouse, Keyboards, Printers, Scanners; Fax Machines, Copy Machines * Display cases or store fixtures * Electronic equipment that needs to be cleaned; or need repair * Exercise Equipment; Stationery Bikes * Firearms, Weapons * Furniture (Office/Home) * Halogen Lamps * Ironing Boards that are used; need repair * Lawn Mowers * Major Appliances (i.e. Stoves, Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers, Water heaters.) * Metal Desks, Metal Cabinets * Microwave Ovens that need cleaning; or need repair * Newspapers, Magazines, Encyclopedias, Textbooks * Non-Framed Mirrors * Outdoor Swing Sets * Tanks - Helium, Propane, Oxygen (Scuba) * Tires * Toilet Seats, Bed Pans * Torn, Dirty, Stained or Damaged Items * TV Consoles; TVs larger than 19" or older than 5 years * Used Bathroom, Kitchen, Light Fixtures * Vacuum Cleaners that need to be cleaned; or needing repair; or missing parts/accessories. Dust bags must be removed before it can be accepted * Wall to Wall Carpets and Pads American Red Cross Cash or Check (made out to American Red Cross) donations *No minimum or maximum Mahalo, Ricky Last edited by 808E90; 12-31-2008 at 12:52 AM.. |

If any of you want to meet up before I head over to GoodWill I'll be at First Hawaiian Bank On the bottom of Ward Ave. at 9:15am ... I have to be at GoodWill early so don't be late ...
Hey guys FYI. If you see a really large puddle of water, more like a lake, on Kilihau, go around it! That is salt water as that area is below sea level and high tide is @ 8:43 am. Last edited by 808E90; 01-04-2009 at 01:53 AM.. |

It was a good day. This was a lot of fun and it was good seeing all of you as well as the Lexus crew. I truly can't wait till we all go to Maui; that will definitely be a blast. Thank you again Ricky and Miyo (hopefully I spelled it right) for doing such a fantastic job with the entire event. Let's get together again soon!

Nice meet. Bunch of nice cars. Mine was the silver gray e46 m3.
Sucks about my friends' SC and truck. Never let your friend's GF drive your car. Ricky, you made your own bracket for your front license plate? |

It was good fun, I really wish I could have stayed longer though. I appreciate the work that went into this. Seems like you got a lot of support there Ricky...miyo's cool. Nice meeting the new couple (Paul and sherry?). Hopefully we can get more guys to come out in the following meets. Good job!

A Camry in front of the SC was trying to merge onto the freeway. No one was giving way. Camry slammed its brakes, chain reaction type accident with 3 cars (SC, Tacoma, and another car) behind the Camry collided. SC had minor damage. Tacoma's front end "all bus." Not sure on the 3rd car. Everyone is okay. Just bruised egos.
