e90 vs e92 front end

anyone know if the front ends are interchangable?

Looking on real oem the M3 front bumper is the same coupe and sedan, but the m3 fenders and bonnet are different part numbers, although the front end looks the same.

is there a different shape to the doors? will they swap over? Or do I need to find E90 M3 specific items to convert my e90 to m3 front.

You need everything mate. Even the headlights to go m3. Look for m3 style parts would be cheaper.

E90 and e92 have different parts I believe even for fenders and bonnet. Sadly it's not interchangeable at least to my knowledge. At least according to the parts sold on eBay.

Yeah i see that. But bumper is the same. Im hoping someone knows why. Is it shape of door? Shape of windscreen? Or somethin minor like mount positions etc.

Ie. Can i ****** it together if i get e92 parts. Or is it completely different and undoable.

Bumper bonnet and fenders are different from coupe to sedan. If you purchase all m3 E90 parts it'll bolt right in, need the rad support as well I believe as the front end is longer.

You can buy an e92 non M front end but requires you to make come custom fenders

Anyone know exactly what part needs to be custom? E90 m3 are scarce. So if i can pillage e92 m3 for some of it makes tracking down parts easier.

Having said that. Anyone aftet an s65? Ill buy a whole car and part it out if there is interest haha.

It's more than just the bumper, fender and hood.

- M3 headlight supporting frame.
- You'll need to move the front latch forward (due to the longer hood).
- Moving / modding the front light washers.
- New inner liners
- M3 windscreen tank

I was going to do the conversion, but I'm in two minds about it.
