also, how much crank HP and crank tq is a gain of 20-25 and 13-15?
Wondering how close we would be to a 335. even though we lack the turbos. again, talking crank power here.

It'd be interesting if they can tune for a muffler. lol. Scoops won't show any addition of whp/wtq, but it will help the intake by supplying colder air over time.

and to answer the question on whp or crank... it is whp, according to Craven, thats why this thing is so awesome. Cant wait for the Dyno. Lux...are you thinking about pulling the trigger on this as well?

Yeah, Im assuming craven meant whp/wtq. Im very interested in this mod and I can probably make some room to purchase this but Im just worried because 20~25whp gain for already optimized N52 engine is a bit too good to be true. That's forced induction gain range. I hope its not too aggressive of a tuning, sacrificing reliability. Im already out of warranty so I don't want any trouble with this car. Hopefully there is no major negative long-term effect. Also, Im a little skeptical with this "module" that lights up green and red or whatever, because it resembles other scam "power chips". However, by checking out craven's posts, he doesn't seem like a guy who would screw around. We will see tomorrow. Im a bit afraid to pull the trigger first.. like the other member said.

basically you run the regular tune, then log the data after a week or 2, we analyze it and see where things can be bumped and tweaked to pick up that little extra. Just email us the log file, and we email back a new tune and you load the new file to the OBD tool via USB and your computer

it hasnt been tested and we can tweak the throttle also, so there would be no real need to do that |

For the muffler alone, i wouldnt expect much, but the tune will change the sound overall, so the full exhaust kit would show gains.
the red and green lights are just an easy way to know you are ready to Rock. Were not here to rip people off, were here to make you go fast Quote:

I think for the meantime, I'll stick to using my PBX UNTIL this new tune has been proven. Don't get me wrong...I'm super excited about this and hope all goes well.
20-25whp is a very good gain. Here's a guestimated calculation based on my current configuration. Stock hp: 255 (at the crank, factor in on average 18% drivetrain loss which should be about 209.1whp) AFE intake: 6.5whp (AFE claim) BMW Performance Exhaust: 5-10whp (BMW claim. BMW has always been conservative with their output numbers and after speaking to a BMW tech, it's around 8-10whp) Gintani tune: 22.5whp (taking an average of 20-25whp) 94 octane gas: dunno...maybe 2-3whp Guestimated total: close to 250whp That's not bad :-) Lets all keep our fingers crossed guys!

As to the tune, it could work with modifications to the tune, you would have to ask. |

Come on craven, you gotta post some dyno, pictures of the modules, etc..
As far as the OBDII tool goes, is this absoutely necessary? how much realistic gain are we looking at for data-logging/tuning? Im sure it varies by cars.. You guys should offer "loan" program for the OBDII tool. I mean after certain data logging and tuned accordingly, we don't really need that tool right? Argh, $930 is a little too steep.
