M3 dilema

I'm on the brink of taking the plunge!

Spec is sorted - Apline white, Red leather (I loved it in my last E92 M-sport), 19's, DCT, EDC, BT with voice, 6FL audio and heated seats.

My dilema is this; do I take a current car from UK stock (my 'man' who sorts my cars tells me it shouldn't be a problem to locate a car with this as minimum spec, with the possibility of some additional added bits) and thus avoid factory order delay?

OR

Do I factory order and take advantage of LCI improvements (new head and tail lights, stop strat tech, improved MPG etc)?

Are the LCI changes going to outweigh the pain of awaiting a new car? Bearing in mind I've given the SLK to my mum and am now in a stop gap car so dire I can't even bring myself to let you lot know what it is for the pisstaking that will ensue.

There is quite a few new LCI M3's on order for the dealers in this country and some similar to the spec you are looking at. That was a couple of weeks ago on the order system, when i was looking through it. Personaly i wouldnt go with a pre LCI one unless the price justified it.

Depends on how much you might save going used?

It wont be used, it'll be brand new, just a cancelled order/stock car.
I'm being told that there will be no difference in costs, although I might get some additional spec for free if I go pre-LCI

If I were you I'd get the LCI model... especially if there's little price difference.

Remember residuals.

LCI definitely, better for residuals, better iDrive, better consumption, greater freedom in spec. All these advantages would outweigh the pain of the wait in my book. Also I saw on another thread a post by Anneka from Sytner saying that Mineral white metallic is now available to order (might look nicer than AW on an M3). Good luck, whatever you decide.

If it turns out like the spy shot, I'd wait, if only for the CSL's

Thats the Competition Pack, a lot of the cars i seen that are coming through have this.

Think it has updated EDC so you could remove 19" wheels & EDC from list and add this option.

Some Pics at the bottom of this thread.

Dont think they are CSL wheels just similar.

The Competition Pack is £3315.
