WTF is this? 20,000 miles on my IS350 and a bad crankshaft position sensor and the traction control both fail out of the blue? This better be covered by warranty or I'm taking this thing out to the desert (5 minute drive ) and torching it to get a new 135i....sorry for the mini-rant.

You have a right to rant. Two years old and twenty thousand miles. I gotta believe that this is an unusual occurance for lexus, that it will be covered and they will fall all over themselves to make it right.

I'd say its a good reason to get a new car. I think rims on an IS is like a muffler on a civic.

Toyota's quality (and Honda's) has been slipping a fair bit over the last few years. I definately wouldn't own one.

how do you explain, 6 months old C230 with a failed tranny. I can add that Mercedes is falling behind too on quality craftsmanship .
