GE Extended Warranty

Any feedback on GE Extended (48 months/100,000 mile) Warranty? Is it any good? Anybody have problems submitting a claim to them?

Would they having a Dinan chip void the warranty?

ANY info is greatly appreciated!

Agreed. I had a third party warranty for my 2001 S4 and I ended up getting a transmission, set of turbos, and suspensions parts replaced. Total cost of warranty was $1850, while cost of covered repairs was >9k!

I would strongly consider an aftermarket warranty to those of you who are modded and have a mechanic they trust in their area. As far as finding the right one, I would do your research online and then ask that mechanic what their experience has been with that company.

+1 I had a third party warranty from Allstate for our 1995 Bonnrville. It was very helpful. We also had a good dealership that worked with Allstate.

What aftermarket warranty did you have for your S4?
