I have one almost the same, E91 330dA with a Promotec FMIC. Dynoed to 270hp/617nm and that is mesured a bit conservative.... ;-)
Next time you go on the drag strip, try starting in 2 gear and if you haven't done that already push the DTC button to allow a bit of slip on the wheels ;-)

Yeah, was my first time on the track. Will get better... Been practicing my launch and i found 2nd gear with DTC off is best!

I will get better pics once the car is cleaned, im also going to clean the calipers and wheels arches, noticed how filthy they are as i was fitting the brakes.

Initial review of the Powerbrake Kit, even before bedding in and actually driving the car properly, they are awesome. Stops in its tracks! Much better than OEM. I will provide a full review after 1000km.

Results from Experience Dyno Day... Just my results.



Still trying to get results from Rally Cross

I have a few mods planned, looking forward to getting them done in the first half of the year as i plan to take part in the Xcede Top 50 Challenge which will possibly be held sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2013.

For now, let the saving begin! Mods will be revealed eventually...

But, heres a hint of one of them...


Just got it on Saturday... Will be fitted together with the other mods and dyno'd.

And some pics to keep you guys happy! Got a small tripod so ws testing it.

Some before pics as the car is currently having its front end resprayed. This is where most of the damage is, mainly the bumper. Fenders are actually clean, but i guess to "blend" the color they need to do the fenders. Bonnet is a tricky one, its got a bird poo stain (i suspect), clay didnt even remove it. Didnt get a pic of it but its there. Apart from the bird poo stain, the bonnet has chips on the front half, not as noticeable as the bumper as it has not been painted since it rolled out the factory. The bumper on the other hand has been sprayed, mid last year.

Honestly, i cannot understand how my OCD has left me with this kind of damage for so long. Im really upset with myself... LOL.

Anyways, i cannot wait for it to be done and back to its glory.

Thanks... Yeah, not really a fan of CF however Gloss Black is done to death already.

Lowering - I really want to. But, the roads here in Sunny South Africa are not the best. Even with the sport pack suspension, i have to be very careful how i drive.
