Those headlights are worse than the terrible mirrors. It also looks like they are rounding out--extending the length of the front--which I also despise. It's beginning to look like a friggin VW.

Hopefully the final version has more changes than this sneak peak prototype shows....as it doesn't seem to have improved upon the old.
But, I'll reserve full judgment until I see it in 335i with Sport Package trim rather than base model 328i trim and a bunch of black tape on the car. |

funny how everyone with a current (especially 09) 335i coupe say they don't like this revision.
what bmw revision has sucked? this is going to look very good and make the 07-09's look outdated. |

Well, ive ordered my e93 m3, its will be a september build and its getting the facelift as i have been told by my dealership manager. When i phoned bmw CS they told me the interior dash area (heated seat buttons) will be changed. They told my the front grills will also be changed. The person told me there will be no body panel changes....hmmm now im not sure? Do you guys think the m3 e92/e93 will get the new headlights and rear lights? I just hope it dont look messed up and that the lights come out looking good on the m3 if thats they are being changed on the m3!
They will also recieve the new idrive software with improved voice control. I was also told that the coupe will recieve cup holders in the rear? and that the rear of the front seats with Dakota leather will have leather instead of plactic. Also something about the storage net delete on the rear of the front seat - think thats due to the leather taking its place.

Oh yeah, and the m3 will have a new wheel design for the standard 18" wheels!

I respect your opinion, but I doubt it. I think the 07-09 e92 is not easily dated. The e90 really did need a facelift, and the LCI is a major style improvement. The e92 on the otherhand, really is not in need of a facelift, which makes it easy to go backwards or equivocal with the LCI.

lol @ the people upset about the mirrors. This is a camouflaged car. That's like saying, "Why did BMW decide to go with an electrical tape front bumper!! Ugly!"
Nothing is finalized here. |

Actually I am glad the face-lift looks the way it does...in some ways I'm glad I have the current headlights and side-view mirrors...
The only thing I really would like are the LED taillights which may actually be a drop-in upgrade...we'll just have to see... But its nice to know my current e92 will not look even a bit outdated

Oh yes, those are definitely LED tail lights and turn signals
Hopefully the brake lights will look like a single smooth light effect rather than have that individual LED lights look. A good example of what I'm talking about is the Lexus LS460 tail lights. |
