i just wanted to see if we had any fellow CHP officers or lawyers around here.

There was no motorcycle cop.
It was a CHP car.

I accelerated from 65 to about 95 in a second; popped in the lane and out.
He was up front and that's why everybody was doing 65.
Even though everybody was laughing when i got pulled over, they were happy because now they were able to do the standard 75 that everyone does every morning.

California is cracking down on everything. I've seen the same cop posted in the same spot for the last week. Radar in hand and pulling people over non stop.

BTW if you in the valley, dont speed on Woodman or Burbank. Its a trap.

Again just wait until the documents are processed in your assigned court and go ask them really quickly how many points this ticket is.. Again it should be ONE and as for traffic school thats up to you.

You are right.
I researched it and...
In the state of Cali, the points of the ticket is the maximum point value between each infraction. So, if you have 4 infractions where each infraction is worth 1 point then the ticket is 1 point.
If you have a 3 infraction ticket where 2 infractions are 1 point and the other one is a 2 point infraction then the ticket is a 2 point ticket.

This is good news.
Now, I will stress on the amount of the ticket. lol
