Big thanks to A&L / IND

I usually don’t post many reviews, but this is an exceptional case. About 7 weeks ago my car got t-boned in the rear driver side wheel by someone who blew a stop sign. Needless to say it was a nightmare (per the pictures below). The first call I made was to Anthony at A&L /. I said “Anthony just got into accident can I tow my car up there now from downtown (it was 6pm)? My cars pretty fucked up can you take care of it?” In a confident, cheerful voice he said “oh yea, we can do anything here. When they drop the car off ill come from home and pull it in the shop so it’s not outside over night”. Week after week they kept peeling back layers of mess and finding more damage. I was a bit worried but knew I had my car in the best of hands, better than any dealership.

After all was said and done there is a 6+ page list of parts and labor that was charged out to the others insurance. For those who worked on bmws know how many parts and pieces are involved even for the simplest project, let alone literally reconstructing and blending the entire rear quarter panel. The extent of the damage was all suspension links, all rear sub frame parts, internal and external sheet metal, rear bumper and blending paint from all the surrounding areas (roof, rock panel, door panel and trunk). A&L / IND did a great job of keeping track and sourcing my oem, m3 suspension bits and bilstein parts. im sure it was a daunting task to keep everything in order and accounted for while taking it apart and putting it back together over the 7 weeks. They also did a great job of keeping me in the loop throughout the process.

My chief concern which kept me worried over the weeks was how my car was going to drive/look after the reconstruction. Would it have a different hue of color between all the panels, would there be rattling interior pieces, could the car have an odd feeling to it while being pushed to the limit? Thankfully the answer was no to all of my worries. I was so relieved and excited when I finally laid eyes and hand onto my car. My car drives and looks just as it did coming off the showroom floor, whether it’s in a straight line or around the bends, its perfect. They even went the extra step by detailing the interior, exterior and engine bay. I can not express my gratitude and thanks to A&L / IND. The guys at A&L / IND as always are easy to work with but more importantly competent enough to take on any job big or small.

I've looked at it from every angle trying to find a fault and still have not seen one. It's an amazing transformation.

Cliff notes. Car got hit. Car got fixed. Anthony is da man.

Looks great Los. Glad everything turned out well. Did you end up "upgrading" any parts along the way?

No they cut the internal and external sheet metal, welded new material on and blended surrounding areas.

Haha haven't made the trip up there to see it yet. Lady blew another stop sign and I smashed her drivers door. She had No insurance or drivers license but my insurance says I don't have to pay the deductible since she was at fault which is great. They're going to go after her when everything is finalized. Sucks to be her.
