Idrive CIC (E93 2010) internet and DAB coding?

Hi, I have the professional (business i believe) CIC idrive in my LCI E93 with streaming bluetooth features enabled and it plays DVD video. It has the basic sound system with subs under the seats but no door tweeters etc. It also has under the menu options 'BMW online' etc however when trying to use it - when connected to my old phone i just get the message 'Services unavailable' and on my new phone i now get something like 'services not compatible with this network type'.

Now does this mean the internet features are not available on my idrive? is it just a case of coding it to enable them? On my bluetooth setup i get asked the question to allow data transfer as well as the usual calls and phonebook access.

Also, What would i need to do to enable DAB radio on my idrive? I understand it may require installing another box and antenna, but what about coding wise? is there a how to for any of this?

Lastly, is there any way to install a rear camera to the idrive system that comes on automatically with the reversing sensor screen?

Do you have combox installed? Internet can be available in two ways: contract from dealer, bluetooth tethering. In the second case you need a combox and proper coding. Send me your last 7 signs of you VIN number and I can tell you more.

Yes, you need hardware to have a DAB

Yes, if you have cic business you can buy camera retrofit pack for about $100 it will be turning on whit reverse gear.

You have combox, but dont have S614A INTERNET.
It can be coded anyway, its a bit tricky but doable.

Do you have cable to your car?

That's good news!
I do not have the cable yet. To be honest this is the first bmw I've owned so am still getting to grips with the fundamentals. I cannot believe how much tech these cars have!
What cable do I need? And are you able to talk me through the coding process?
