That sucks. Anyone else have real cold temps around them? I was at 1* F today and I definitely noticed the car cranking over much slower. I was a bit worried it would not start. I guess we will see when it gets really cold later this year! I wonder if the battery is covered under CPO?

I don't think the battery is covered under CPO since that warranty is more for just the drivetrain as opposed to being a comprehensive warranty. I do believe the initial warranty covers it though, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, no call back yet. As I mentioned, the advisor did note that it might take them a bit before they got to my car, which is fine. I'm not in a rush and I want them to have any time they need to do their job.

Just got a call from my service advisor. Technicians replaced the HPFP and took care of a couple other maintenance items that the key reported when the advisor put it in that gizmo hooked up to their computers.

They're going to keep the car overnight and start it up tomorrow to confirm the fix and I should be good to go to pick up the car around lunchtime!

High marks for my dealership! Everything from the purchase, post-sales support, and service so far have been nothing short of exceptional. Disclaimer: I do NOT work for them or have any stake in their business.

Just picked up the car and drove it home. Everything feels the same and I haven't verified myself how it starts up, but I have no reason to doubt the work the dealership did on it.

The part of the work order description that might be interesting to some is:
"Performed high pressure fuel pump test plan. Per test plan was told to replace high pressure pump."
I'm not sure what this test plan involves, but it was apparently able to identify the issue with my HPFP.

Haha, I bought my car at Minnetonka and took it there for service. I will continue to even though Motorwerks may end up being closer to me when I move in the next year or two. Minnetonka really hit it out of the park with service all around! Doesn't hurt that their indoor showroom is basically a mini museum for newer models, haha. They do have a couple old ones too though, even an Isetta (Steve Urkel's car!)!

I don't drive much during the week because I work so close to where I live. Otherwise I may be out and about on the weekend sometimes! I've seen a couple 328s that are the same color as our cars, but not another Deep Sea Blue 335 yet! It might be safe to assume it's yours though if I do see one since the color seems to be pretty rare! I see that yours is MT, which is awesome and makes yours a true unicorn in this case, haha. I would have preferred MT in many ways as a couple cars I had before were manual, but I'm actually happier with the auto than I thought I'd be.
