Rwd awd suspension

OK so everyone knows rwd suspension does not fit awd and vice versa. The reason being is awd shocks are shorter in the front for axle clearance. So my question is, at the end of the day suspension does fit. just ride height will be different? Yes? No?

I have bc coils that went pretty low on my rwd. I don't want to slam my awd so will throwing my rwd coils on an awd lower it slightly? Not lower at all or won't even fit?

Who has hard evidence?

Even a picture of rwd and awd suspension or even measurements?
