Stock rider over aftermarket?

is there any suspension setup out there, springs/struts , coils, bags that can let me lower my car, but not mess with the ride quality.

The smoothness is why i bought my bmw, and i dont want to alter that just for looks. i drive a 08 335xi so its rather hard finding suspension for an xi so i wana make the right choice?

any feedback will be appreciated

You should search the XI thread here... http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=197

Plenty of XI owners have lowered their cars on aftermarket suspension systems so I am sure there is a post or two buried somewhere in that thread.
