Different front and rear brakes?

Any issues with running different brakes front to rear?

I think I may go with Zimmerman rotors in the rear, but when my fronts are up, go with oem rotors since the front matters a little more.

Any issues with doing this? ....I will run the same pads front to rear but the rears will be done now and the fronts in about 4 months.

Zimmerman should be better than the stock. Any reason why you think stock is the better choice for the front ?

Every review I read on Zimmerman is that they are good replacements but always hear that that don't have the initial bite or grab that the OEM rotors have.

rotors don't have "grab". That's what the brake pads do. if you want your brakes to "grab" more, then you need to change the pads, not the rotor.

People who are saying that their rotors don't grab as much as stock are probably putting on a different pad - like those low-dust pads. And/or they haven't bedded in the new pads properly.

What others have said the rotors dont offer the bite, the pads do. I would go with zimmermanns front and rear along with a matching pad.
