I have a vorsteiner (however you spell it) hood. The previous owner says it's carbon fiber. I can't tell to be honest cause it still feels heavy.
Regardless, I will get your L brackets. I just want to confirm: -This will fit a 2010 E92 2-door 335i -Do you send instructions? -Should I buy M3 "struts" / hood shocks since those are built for the aluminum M3 hood or should I get the normal ones for 335i? I can't get PM's so feel free to text me or call me OP 501-503-NINE NINE 2 FIVE or you can email me at j.ward2CC @ gmail . com I wrote it like that for the spam bots. neuronpetkowski |

So my custom brackets are on the way. And a question comes to mind for me:
My car, purchased used with aftermarket hood already, never came with struts/shocks for the hood. Previous owner didn't have them. I see the OP states "will come with the nut needed to screw on to the ball studs of the lift cylinder" So I am looking to purchase a lift cylinder / strut / shock for the hood. But NONE of them show a ball on the top part w/ stud coming out of them. Where can I get that item from? To be specific it seems none of the struts / shocks / cylinders for my e92 335i comes with the below item circled in red::: |

You need to purchase a pair of Lift Cylinder Ball Studs plus the struts.
The ball studs for your model vehicle can be purchased at getbmwparts.com Click here to go to the specific page of the part. It's item #16. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi. Not sure if this will fit a Seibon CF hood. Anyone have one out there?

Hey everybody! These are still the best solution for your hood struts attached to your Vorsteiner CF hoods. Rumblecloud and I have really perfected these for fit and finish. Thanks Rumblecloud. They look awesome!

I've got an m3 carbon fibre hood and I'm interested in these! Might need to take pics to show you to see if they will fit?
