I'll let you know tomorrow if I make it home from work after the storm lol! I'm concerned because they are performance winter tires and so we'll see how they actually handle in storm situations in Toronto which is what i need.

Performance winter tires? That almost sounds like an oxymoron Shouldn't be a problem regardless. Have fun!

The blizzaks are performace winters. I was actually looking at getting the ws60 bit they didn't come in the size I wanted/needed. Now that I have the lm25 I'm glad I got them.

lm-25's were no longer available in the size i needed, ws-60s were cheaper than the lm-60's which took the place of the lm-25s.

LOL. I don't even know what the diff was. All I know is I walked into WSTO and said, "I need winters - hook me up" and they did! They did tell me the savings from the LM-60s but those are details that are lost on me. All I had to know was that I was saving $ without a noticeble difference...done.

I don't think we even looked a the WS series.

Oh the Blizzak LM series winter tires are "performance winter" tires...the WS's are "studless ice & snow" tires. That's why speed rating is lower on the WS's than on the LM's.

Reason I chose the WS series is because of crap storms like the one that will hit us tonight total of 8-12 inches of snow starting tonight all the way to tomorrow night. Plus my street get plowed when it stops snowing so I need something to get me through the deep stuff.

Id sport some of these winter setups in july...

I just put LM60s on our Infiniti M and was blown away how well it performed this morning ... The blizzak was far from my 1st choice after reading the comments on here, but apparently buying in late November limits your choices. Regardless, these worked out great, kinda excited to drive home.
