Wasn't there a DIY thread on soldering your own alarm or something? I didn't read it just saw it as I was flipping thru them.

I didnt catch that one, i did find the diy just with the oem install if thats what your talkin about. It seems so easy to install. Most difficult part is prob just removing the cover under the wheel well and mounting one of the sirens. All that is required in removing maybe 8-10 screws and mounting the siren bracket, and it doesnt appear that you need to drill the holes to mount it so it should be so simple. Everything else is plug and play and easily accessible. Should be an easy install for anybody looking into getting an alarm just pick a good day to do it and take your time in doing it right. 45 mins- an hour should be the max an install like this should take. Il deff let everyone know how the install turns out. Im looking forward to it. |
