320D turbo, should i change/renovate it?

Hey guys.

I have a 2006, 320D with 180.000km on the clock - Always had it maintained and serviced.

I recently got the car remapped and i am very happy about it. My question is, the turbo on this car, is still the same it was born with, and has not been exchanged/renovated.

With 180.000km on the meter, and the recent remap, would it be wise to change/renovate the turbo? - Or is it still to soon?

I can get a new turbo fitted for around 1250-1500$ or i can have it renovated and get 1 year warranty on the renovated turbo for around 500-1000$ fittet.

Cheers.
