Hi,

I want to replace my exising oem bumper to M3 reps (front).

Anyone in atlanta area done this?


Which shop/bodyshop did you go?

I really want to make it less has hassle, meaning have them order the part, paint and install.... i beleive most of folks here have to order it online, bring to the shop for painting and installation..

also how much i am looking for everything?

My local shop quoted 400 painted and installed but it varies. I would say 800 or more is a ripoff

ok, i found local bodyshop who can do the paint/install of m3 reps bumper...
now, im thinking if go full M3 reps body kit which include sideskirt and read bumper...

would it look wierd? or fine, I am not planning to get new wheels anytime soon just the exising eom 162...

any advice?

Because the M3 rep rear bumper and side skirts for E90 are made using the E92 coupe M3 moulds (a stupid thing), you are better off just getting the front bumper. (see this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=583987). There are no "correct" M3 E90 side skirt/rear bumper reps, except fiberglass one from CSR Automotive. If you really want - do the moulding from real thing.

For sideskirts and rear bumper go with Msport I think, they actually look just as good and don't require a quad conversion.

ok, the M3 reps is now in the body shop.. i see a little problem... they shipped the bumper with the plug in for headlight washer... im thinking to just paint it or deal with the hasssle of returning.. i think i am keeping it and just have them paint it...

I also ordered it with the wiring harnesss... they only ship 1 wire... do we really need that wiring harness to make the fog ligght work? if we need do we need 2 harness ?
