Anyway, I'm in convoy with a 320bhp Focus RS (make sure you all wind him up at the ring as he's a pussy!), Seat Leon Cupra R, A3 3.2, Clio 172 and a lovely Fiat Coupe!!!

Therefore, I probably won't be going anywhere fast either

Ill be happy if my diesel can live with the 300bhp focus in a straightlien.

Going off stock figures for the RS it does 0-100 in 14secs, which is actually slower than a stock 335d. I did 13.5 0-100.

No chance mate with new M3's and Tony 335i, he runs 12.6 mate at the 1/4mile.

I run 13.3 and hope to break into the 12's just. What have you run?

Im with you on the get the car home thing, UK track day im a loony. Ask Stevie. But at thr ring i drive in reserve, so easy to write the car and yourself off lol

Wne i said focus rs does 0-100mph in 14 i meant the new one. Old one was prob 17-18 secs.

But with 330bhp yours must be a monster. They only weigh 1200kg dont they?

People are coming back on different days, depending on their schedules. Carl & I are coming back on Tuesday, as we want to make the most of the quiet Monday at the track...

Tony put it this way, My Fiesta RS turbo with 230bhp and 900kg was a FRICKIN ANIMAL.

Now a FocUS RS with 330 and 1200 will be prob mentaller to hold on to. Torque steer galore. LOVE IT.

Not booked the Eurotunnel before, what is the cheapest way of doing it?

It's cheaper to book two day return tickets than one short stay save ticket, is this allowed?

Are you coming with us Will ??

Technically you can book two day returns, although Eurotunnel do have the right to charge you extra on the card if both return portions of the tickets haven't been used. I've done this before, and got away with it - however friends have tried the same and been caught out!!

Cheapest way to book is via the Eurotunnel site - click the link in my previous post and follow the instructions!

My return Eurotunnel ticket sucked £142 from me for 15-18 May. I'm not convinced yet that getting to France an hour earlier is worth an extra £100 than by ferry.
