Is this the new version? I have sat Nav pro and 07-2 disc

wonder if it will update Sat Nav Firmware too a la e46?

No- that is the 'High' version- you need the 'Pro' version. It should be available within the next month or so, I think.

Software is updated, but only in order to read the new contents of the disc- not to alter the Nav features.

In the past, some kind German & Spanish individuals have managed to produce a torrent for the discs- I'm sure they will come up trumps again for 2008-1

What speeds to you get on torrents Viv?

I've tried them, but they are painfully slow.

I tend to use rapidshare (I have a premium account) which lets me max out my connection at 1,300 kb / sec

It's pretty variable, NFS.

A torrent with a good seed:leech ratio & large number of connections provides upto a maximum of around 900KB/s. Most downloads run at a much lower 200-300KB/s. 1.3MB/s would be nice- I'll have to investigate.

The Virgin 20Mb connection works well, but I need to get a new gigabit router to increase the WAN connection to over 10Mb.

Top tip Viv... Leopard doesn't seem to like large amounts of traffic or too many connections hitting it... it tend to lock up
